I have to confess, I couldn’t live a day without Google. Eversince we started this whole preparation thing, my morning ritual begins with turning on my computer. No no, I don’t go straight to facebook! I log on to this amazing blog by Anggi. Rest assured ladies, you can find the answer to most of your wedding day fiasco here. She reviews caterers, decorators, venues, traditional make up artists, and much much more. Even my Mom is a big fan of her blog
Anyway, the worldwideweb put me in the right path to find the perfect homy cozy venue for my party… I present Roemah 7A
It’s breathtakingly beautiful… according to the photos they have a lot of antique furniture and knick knacks, not to mention a huuuge garden, a swimming pool and a pendopo with an antique gebyok.
I emailed Mba Dewi for the details, and she replied promptly. The next step? Survey of course!
I dragged Adam out on a Sunday afternoon, the traffic wasn’t so bad thankfully. We headed towards Fatmawati and easily found the place.. first thought that crossed my mind? Parking is going to be a big problem…
Though we didn’t have a prior appointment, Mba Dewi kindly showed us around the house.. I FELL IN LOVE.
Adam agreed that the place was amazing, but I think he’s still stuck with Rumah Ranadi..
2nd survey done!! we were famished.. Radja Ketjil in Tarogong seemed like a good idea.. Unfortunately, they took a mighty long time to prepare our dishes. In the end, we cancelled the order and headed home. We were extremely famished and my sister called to tell us that we’re expected to eat at home.
Can’t remember the menu, but right after dinner we showed my parents the photos of Roemah 7A. As I predicted their main concern was parking space.. sigh… I’m taking my Mom to see the place next Tuesday..
